I host my supper club once a month, I have a long harvest table where 30 people seat all together, bring their own favourite vino and eat and “share” the experience with new friend, this is what it’s all about at the end. I have regional theme, holiday theme like Italian Christmas, summer theme with “al fresco” dinner with Florentine steak, but usually I have a “taste of Italy” a presentation of some of the best Italian food, from south to north, little tasting to learn more about Italy's regions.

Pere cotte al vino dolce (Cooked pear with marsala and cinnamon and fresh whipping cream)

There isn't  much available wine from Umbria, but their most famous are the "Sagrantino di Montefalco" for red and the "Orvieto Classico" for white. Both are great wine and you will be able to find them at a well stored LCBO. BYOB
